TS007 was a standard that was introduced because of a collaboration between The Door & Hardware Federation and The Glass and Glazing Federation. The standard allows for cylinders to be designated as either 1* or 3*, depending on which standards they achieved.
A 3* cylinder provides the highest level of security, under TS007, without the need for additional security hardware or handles.

HOW ELSE CAN YOU ACHIEVE 3* SECURITY
1* + 2* = 3*
When a 1* cylinder is fitted in conjunction with a 2* handle, TS007 3* security is achieved.
A 1* cylinder provides protection against attack but does not satisfy the additional requirements imposed by the 3* standard, the most famous of which is protection against snapping.
Handles (and certain other security hardware) can be designated as 2*.
