At Duffells our warehouse is your warehouse, with over 26,000 square feet we can stock and distribute thousands of products nationwide, supporting you and your business operations.
We can deliver direct to your door, on-site, to one of over 250 allocated pick-up points with our LOCKer service, or you can collect your order from our Croydon or Leamington Spa trade counters.
Duffells adapts to change and opens a new distribution centre in Leamington Spa. The central UK location allows Duffells develop improve output and efficiency to distribute nationwide more effectively. Duffells keep the Croydon site as office HQ and trade counter.
The world is hit with the Covid-19 pandemic and Duffells is considered an essential service, remaining operational throughout whilst adhering to government guidelines on safety. Office staff adapted; working from home. Warehouse and trade counter staff implement changes to be COVID-safe for both staff and customers. Duffells ensured customers got the parts they need in order to keep the nation secure throughout. Duffells also contributes necessary security products free of charge to the outfitting of Nightingale Hospital in London.
A major relaunch of the Duffells website sees an overall better user experience for customers. Duffells also launch a mobile app for quick on-the-go ordering from your mobile phone. Duffells release an updated UPVC catalogue; UPVC and Double-Glazing Repair Catalogue. Volume 1.3. Packed with over 600 multipoints, technical guides, detailed product specifications and thousands of other UPVC and double-glazing repair products.
We put customers in front of manufacturers to hear about the latest product and industry developments. Temperatures reached a whopping 30 degrees on the day, and visitors enjoyed the free ice cream and BBQ hog roast. There were fantastic product demos from ABS, Allegion, Alpro, Assa Abloy, Borg, Codelocks, DormaKaba, ERA, Fermax, Hoppe, GU, JIS, PAC, Sclak, Securefast, Souber Tools, TSS, VERSA, WD40 and Winkhaus.
We release a book packed full of our entire product range. The Van Book is intended as a direct reference book for customers to keep next to them in their van, or on site.
Duffells launch the first major updated issue of our industry leading printed catalogue. Multipoint UPVC & Double Glazing Repair volume 1.2 contains thousands of repair products dedicated solely to the UPVC and double glazing repair market. Packed with technical guides and all the latest UPVC products, we send out over 10,000 copies with orders.
Duffells are proud to be leading the way for security wholesale and distribution. Duffells are the pioneers of the industry and have grown and developed hugely since the humble beginnings 60 years ago.
Attracting over 500 visitors on the day, our 2nd open day is another overwhelming success. This time round we focused purely on UPVC & double glazing repair with demonstrations by experts from Borg Locks, CES Locks, ERA, Fab & Fix, Fuhr, GU, Hoppe, Jackloc, Kaba, Mila, Sashmate, Souber Tools, Winkhaus and Yale Doormaster.
Duffells recognises the innovation in VERSA products as bridging a unique gap in the requirements of UPVC and double-glazing repairers. We invest in becoming the UKs largest distributor of VERSA. VERSA becomes a recognisable brand within the industry as a go-to for quick and easy retrofit repair solutions.
Duffells attain the unit next door effectively doubling the warehouse capacity. Our warehouse now exceeds 28,000 square feet.
Attracting over 400 visitors on the day, our very first open day is an overwhelming success. With fantastic demonstrations by experts from Abus, Adams Rite, Balance UK, Borg Locks, Codelocks, Dorma, E3 Locks, ERA, Fab & Fix, GU, Guardian Safes, IFAM, Ingersoll Rand, JMA, Kaba, Sashmate, Schlegel, Souber Tools, Storm, Trimec, Union & Yale.
After unparalleled rapid growth, Duffells make the necessary decision to relocate to a much larger warehouse of 14,000 square feet. We become capable of holding even more stock and employing staff to handle even greater needs.
Anticipating expansion, Duffells moves to a bigger site to increase office staff and capability. Almost as rapidly as the location change, demand for our products and services increases. However, thanks to the pre-emptive move, our commitment to a quality service continues strong.
With 50 years trading under our belt, Duffells now has a strong history in the industry of providing high quality products at affordable prices.

With ERA fast becoming a household name of locks, we make the decision to invest and stock more ERA products that anyone else in the UK at the time.
Duffells is brought under new ownership, with innovation and our customers’ needs pushed to the forefront of everything we do.
Proving again Duffells are pioneering the industry for our customers, we’re the first distributor to sell a multipoint lock. For those who enjoy a bit of trivia, this multipoint lock was a KFV with 2 hooks and 2 rollers.
After listening to feedback from our emergency locksmith customer base, we came to understand how important getting a part to you next day would become. We negotiated with couriers and re-structured our system to become one of the first lock distributors to offer an option for nationwide next day delivery.
Our hard work solidifying Duffells as a trade-only company pays off, and we forge strong relationships with industry suppliers. This leads us to become the leading wholesaler to the trade for Chubb, Union and Yale products in the UK.
We became a well-known reliable supplier, and a go-to shop for the trade. This resulted in us taking a paradigm shift and step-up to become trade-only in order to meet the needs of our customers even better. In December 1972 Duffells becomes incorporated.
Duffells opens as an ironmongery shop in South London. Named after our founder, Dennis Duffell, the store was opened as an outlet for locksmith and security parts. We’re sure that if we asked Dennis today, he’d never have dreamed what his little shop would grow into.
