We Noticed A Common Issue

Friction stays generally come in two stack heights; 13mm and 17mm. The most common is 13mm so, you can assume this is the size you are likely to encounter 9 times out of 10 when you arrive on site.

But what happens when you get to a job and you need to replace a 17mm stack height friction stay but you don't have any on the van?

Or alternatively, if you stock both sizes of friction stay at both 13mm and 17mm stack height in your vehicle, that's wasted money.

The VERSA V-STAY could half the amount of friction stays that you need to stock.

 

What is it about VERSA friction stays?

The VERSA V-STAY comes supplied as a handed pair (1 left and 1 right). Included in the pack are the relevant amount of 4.8mm repair screws to fit the stay with and 4mm packers to adjust your stack height too.

The default stack height of the VERSA V-STAY is 13mm. If you apply the packers in the way our video shows you below then you have increased the stack of the friction stay from 13mm to 17mm. You can use the packers for another job if you don’t need them right away! 

 

 

 

There's One Last Feature...

If you open the window hinge you will see a brass screw. Tighten this screw if you want to make the window harder to open and loosen it if you want the window to open more freely. This range is designed with a plastic end cap.
