      Codelocks narrow stile digital door locks, for use on aluminium doors with screw-in cylinder lock cases.

      These specially designed units work in conjunction with standard screw-in cylinder aluminium door deadlatches (supplied separately) to offer a mechanical access control solution. Featuring full-sized lever handles, these locks are suitable for medium traffic applications. the code is changed via tumblers in the back of the unit and requires removal from the door. 

      Various models are available offering standard operation, or optional code free function, and a choice of euro profile or screw-in cylinder profile for the mechanical override key.

      Note - the mechanical override cylinder does not interact with the mortice lock case itself. it is purely a feature of the digital lock. Although both screw-in, and euro profile versions of the digital lock are available, they must both be used with a Screw-in cylinder mortice lock.

      How do you change the code on this digital door lock?

      This lock requires the manual arrangement of individual metal tumblers at the rear of the lock. This process requires the lock to be removed from the door and the C button to be held down whilst the pins are re-arranged full instructions are provided.

      How heavy Duty is this digital door lock?

      The Codelock 047 series is a medium duty range ideal for internal and external wooden and aluminium narrow style doors where there is a light to medium traffic expectation and an Adams Rite type screw in cylinder lock case installed.

      Is this digital door lock suitable for use outside?

      Yes, These locks are often fitted to external doors and entrance doors

      What locking device does this digital door lock work with?

      None, the lock is designed to be used with narrow style lock cases with screw in cylinders, such as the Adams Rite 4710 series. No lock case is provided with this digital lock and the lock case and any drive assemblies must be purchased separately. Please talk to our team for further advice

      No, codes on this product are non sequential.

      Does this digital door lock feature holdback functionality?

      This product does not feature a manual holdback facility as standard but there is a passage mode version of this lock available, see our part CL04675S when ordering.

      Does this digital door lock feature a manual key override?

      Yes, This product accepts a euro profile cylinder to provide key over ride functionality.

      I see this digital door lock has a euro profile cylinder on it? Does that mean it works with euro profile Adams Rite lock cases?

      No, This cylinder is purely for the mechanical override of the digital lock, and does not interact with the lock case itself. The lock case must still be a screw in cylinder case type. Having a euro cylinder on the digital lock just allows the possibility of including the lock on key systems by replacing the euro cylinder with one of the customers choice
