Chrome finish (connected):
The Yale Keyless Connected Smart Lock provides you with the freedom to secure your home without needing a key. There is no need to worry if your children arrive home early, or if you're stuck at work with friends on your doorstep. You can control who and when people have access to your home by setting a PIN code that works for 24 hours for a friend. Open your door via PIN code, key card, key tag, remote fob and even from your smartphone when connected to a smart home system.
Brass finish (non connected):
The Yale Keyless Non-Connected Electronic digital lock is a simple and convenient way to replace a keyed rim cylinder with a battery powered touch screen digital lock. The Brass version does not include any of the connected features above such as temporary pin numbers, connectivity to other devices such as smart phones, or a built in proximity reader for use with cards or fobs. These features are only available on the chrome version. The brass version will allow a maximum of two unique user codes.
*both versions are powered by 4 AA batteries, with a warning when they are running low. In the event of flat batteries, simply touch a 9v battery onto the terminals at the bottom of the unit, providing temporary power to the lock. Designed to be used with 60mm backset nightlatches such as Yale's 89 or Y3K type locks.
