How do you change the code on this digital door lock?
This lock features easy code change functionality. To change the code follow these steps: Enter the existing code.
Press the code change button. For the BL2000 ECP and the BL5000 ECP style, this requires their respective code change key.
Press the C button and enter your new code
Release the pressure on the code change button and press the C button.
How heavy Duty is this digital door lock?
The Borg 2701 offers a medium duty equivalent, key override upgrade to the standard BL2000 series. That means this lock is suitable for medium traffic fairly high usage environments.
Is this digital door lock suitable for use outside?
This lock is ideally suited to internal doors. It will however function externally and due to the stainless steel construction of its internal components it will remain in great condition for longer than standard light duty products, although its finish may be affected over time.
