This gearbox is not compatible with new style versions.

The split spindle version is no longer manufactured.
GUCASE30OLD has a 30mm backset but when fitted to lock strips that have a 2mm inward kink, the backset becomes 28mm.
45mm version are no longer manufactured - A GU new style full length version of your lock will be required.
28/30mm version has a thick follower surround and the 35mm version has a thin follower surround.
The original gearbox will have 28/92 , 30/92 or 35/92 stamped on the gearbox.
A replacement centre case gearbox for the GU old style multipoint door lock mechanism.
If your customer is having problems with their door lock, it is usaully the gearbox which is the problem.
Changing the broken lock to a GU Old Style Gearbox is very straight forward to replace and involves undoing 3 screws, removing the broken gearbox and re-fitting the new one and replacing the 3 screws.
